Riyadh – Mubasher: Initial data by the Saudi General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) showed that the kingdom’s gross domestic product (GDP) grew 2.21% in 2018.

GDP in fixed prices registered SAR 2.625 trillion ($700 billion) for the full-year 2018, up from SAR 2.568 trillion ($680 billion) in 2017.

Meanwhile, oil GDP increased 2.85% to SAR 1.135 trillion last year from SAR 1.1 trillion a year ago, the data showed, whereas non-oil GDP grew 2.05% to SAR 1.476 trillion from SAR 1.45 trillion in 2017.
